TIME TO CHANGE MY EMAIL SINCE SIGNING INTO YAHOO MAIL IS PROVING TOO TIRESOME.

YAHO

What has happened to Yahoo mail can only be explained through the various detours given to me to sign in, and unfortunately it leads me to nowhere. I have literally become a prisoner of my own mails since I can’t access my email unless mercy is shown to me by technology. I have been locked out for nearly a year now, and the only route to get into my mails is to click the “forgotten password,” prompts…. which initiates a process that is so tiring and burdensome, it is no longer a joke.

It all started when Yahoo asked that I changed my password, and why I did agree to change my password, I honestly can’t say or know why. Yahoo admin or who ever that was, asked that I changed my password because the current password that I had was too week. I agreed and changed my password to something I thought I could remember, but when I went back to sign in to my emails, I was told that the password I entered does not match. I tried it several times but it still didn’t take it.

To recover my password, I had to go through a vetting process that is so distressing it makes me want to abandoned yahoo all together and look for another emails vendor. Unfortunately, I have emails in my Yahoo inbox that are precious.

Here are the steps to recover my email every time I try to access my in-box.

First I am required to enter my sign in user ID

Second, I am requested to enter my password, which it wouldn’t take because I changed it with their promptings

But since I cannot enter a password, I am requested to enter either my email address or phone number.

I am prompted again to identify signs such as Gas station, Traffic sign post, houses that have blocks or lawns with green grass to show that I am not a robot. This vetting process allows them to identify me as human.

When I am done with identifying and proofing myself as a human being, I am given an option that alerts them to send me a code directly onto my phone via text. I am prompted to enter into a space that they provided on the screen the pass code. Most times, they send the codes- which are 8 alphabets in length to my phone, since sending it to my email is a waste of time. I can’t remember the password to enter into that email. Tried signing in today, and I have entered the same information several times, but couldn’t access my emails. They sent me an error message saying they can’t verify the phone number that I have used several ten thousand times.

I don’t know what to do since I still haven’t been able to log into my account because according to the message, it cannot use my phone this time around to recover my pass code.

So, what the heck is wrong with Yahoo, and what should ONE do? Or who should I speak with about the possibility of accessing my emails?
